My Goals!

Hi Everyone, Today I will be telling you about are New Learning Goals. Every two terms, We all get new learning goals. We write are goals out on a slide, they are Number\Algebra, Reading, Writing, Statics and geometry\measurement. Then we stick them on are chromebooks (The front of our chromebooks). This term we made them ourself and however we like. Here is mine:

I got the 100 HERO award today.

Hey Everyone, Today at the end of today (that sounds weird) The Year 8s\House leaders told us how many HERO cards we had got. First was Hillery then Eager the Rutherford (Aka My House) then Ormsby (Bad Spelling). While the last certificates were being said I was imagining if I got the 100 hero cards award my freind Renae (Link to her Blog) Just got it in that second. She was so happy! Then they called my name and I thought I was getting 20 HERO cards but then I found out I had got THE 100 HERO CARDS. The certificates for the 100 had a small badge attached to it. It said YMS HERO 100.                                  Sorry the photos would not work so I made it on a drawing. 

It looks better in REAL life

Holes Questions Slide (We got a new BOOK it's called Holes)

Hi bloggers, Today I am going to show you my Holes Questions Slide. I started today and finshed today. First I will till you a little about the book in a summery. Here the summery is.
A boy is wrongfully sent to a brutal camp, where the camp warden and her staff force the children in their care to mysteriously dig holes all day long in the desert. Their rehabilitation is questioned, as they think something sinister is involved. Here is the slide. Hope you like it.

Wishes (Home Learning)

Hi bloggers, I am doing a home learning blog post about wishes. You get 3 wishes, what would they be and why? My first wish would be having they BEST life having to be able to travel anywhere. My second wish would be to have 2 pets, a cat and dog. My third would be me to have angel wings. What would a family member 3 wishes be? My mum 3 wishes are.... That all children grow up in a loving family. 2. To control the weather. 3. To bring people back to life that have passed away.

Rimu's trip to Town

Hi fellow bloggers, Yesterday we got on a bus to go see the historical sights of Christchurch.

The first thing we did was explore Christchurch's new library. This trip was an expertion you should have. It was so FUN🙂😻

I did a Long Write about it here it is.

I am sitting on the bus to see the historical sights of christchurch. I am sitting next to my best friend Olivia. Me and Olivia started playing paper, scissors, rock, most times Olivia won. At that moment Olivia told me that it would be a half an hour bus ride. Then I heard the bus coming to a stop a the new, big, pretty, Library It is 6 story. The first story was graphic novels. We checked out there new touch screen TV. It was so cool. There was all historical things that brought christchurch together. You would tap on something and it would give you a ton of facts about the thing you clicked on. On each floor there was a color and a bird you would have to guess what bird it was. Then we got to check out the staff areas witch I have to say was pretty awesome we saw how they put each book into a section. Then we came back out and went up to story two there was non fiction books there we all tried to guess what kind of bird it was. Then we walked up to story 3 and read a little of the fiction books.Then we were up to story 4 were it was a kids section 4 to 12. We were leaving the library but coming back later for imantion station. We walked around for a little, looking at architecture  and taking photos. Then we saw the bridge of remembrance for the people who died in the wars. Then we came back for imantion station. It was very fun. We had to make a safe, happy, fun city in groups of 6. We each had jobs like the mayor or town banker or town crier. I was Town Crier so I would show other people around the city that me and my group made. Than we walked a long way to eat lunch and have a play at margaret mahy park. We all tried to get on this spinning thing and go round and round. Finally we all got of that and went back to find are bus. Me and Olivia sat on the same seat we did before. We were back on the bus for another 30 min bus ride back to school. We were all happy and tired from a long fun day. I can sum up christchurch in one word Amazing, truly Amazing.
